2016 San Diego State Univ. commit Dwayne Johnson Jr. took his official visit this past weekend, and loved every part of it.
“My visit was really good. I got to bond with the team and coaches, and I got insight from my position coach on what I need to do in order to prepare myself for next season” says Johnson.
Multi-sport athlete Dwayne Johnson was offered 4 full-ride scholarships from Division 1 schools, but felt that staying close to home in San Diego was most beneficial for him.
Johnson, who has made a huge impact in Southern California high school football, is going to have to make a whole new name for himself at the collegiate level, but is looking forward to every challenge he will be faced with.
“I’m expecting my team to be as successful as this past season and win conference again, and hopefully within the next 3-4 years win a bowl game and get to host a trophy” Johnson replies when asked about the Aztecs’ future successes.
We are excited to follow Johnson and the SDSU football team next season, and see what kind of impact Johnson can make at the next level.
