4-star, nationally recognized football star will be hoping to make a new name for himself in the world of college football.

Demetric Felton, a 2016 Univ. of California, Los Angeles Football commit, plans to make an early appearance at his new school as an early enrollee, starting his classes March 27, and his first college practice March 28.

Felton was offered by eight division 1 schools, but felt that UCLA was the best fit for him, saying that having a “good education, even better football program, and being close to home was all [he] needed.”

Wanting a head start with practicing with the Bruins, Felton has decided to end his senior year at Temecula, Calif.’s Great Oak High School a semester early, and start his collegiate career not only on the field but in the classroom as well.

“This year you can expect a tough Bruin team, we’re expecting to do big things this season” said Felton, predicting the success of his future team.

Ending his outstanding high school career, we are excited to see where the UCLA football program takes Felton, and hopefully can follow him through to the professional level.
