Whitney Houston, who ruled as pop music’s queen. has died. at the age of 48
News of Whitney’s death came on the eve of music’s biggest night — the Grammy Awards. And her death was sure to case a heavy pall on Sunday’s awards. Whitney who starred in motion pictures including Waiting to Exhale and The Bodyguard, and had only recently completed shooting the Sparkle remake. with costar Jordin Sparks.

Many people will remember her as an incomparable voice that will live on for generations to come. She gave us some wonderful music.
